Once again, the year has come together and we hope to have better luck with the weather and with our balloons more times than last year. Still, I’m glad we had the opportunity to compete and declare a winner. The winner was your neighbor from Morina, Mrs. Zuzana Železná. She is ready to fight again this year and face 8 other pilots. We are glad that the municipality of Lety has provided us with good facilities. We have a centre, crew accommodation and a balloon arena. In addition, we have several volunteers who help us organize the contest and we hope more will help us.
For others, we have two nights at the MMX Brewery. The first on Tuesday night 6pm. If the weather is not suitable for flying, the pilots and we will get together, show some pictures and movies and you will be able to ask the pilots about their flying experience and we are planning the second evening for May 1. We hope to have the balloons depart by 7pm and meet at the brewery at 7:30pm. We will show a short interesting film about the warming of the planet and we can talk about it.
